### Anonymous Celebrity Sues Lawyer Tony Buzbee for Alleged Extortion Over Sean "Diddy" Combs' Scandal

An unnamed celebrity has filed a lawsuit against high-profile Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, alleging that Buzbee is attempting to extort him through fabricated claims of sexual assault. The plaintiff, who describes himself as a "public figure" with connections to Sean "Diddy" Combs, claims he received a demand letter from Buzbee's firm with false allegations designed to pressure him into a private settlement.

In the detailed lawsuit obtained by Rolling Stone, the anonymous plaintiff asserts that the demand letter contained "wildly false horrific allegations," accusing him of raping drugged minors at parties hosted by Combs. The plaintiff asserts that Buzbee threatened to take further action, which he interpreted as a threat to file more lawsuits, make public statements, and report him to the FBI if he did not agree to a confidential mediation.

Buzbee, who denies any wrongdoing, dismissed the extortion allegations as "frivolous" in a social media post. He described the lawsuit as a "last-ditch attempt" to prevent him from revealing names in public lawsuits, affirming his commitment to continuing the fight. Buzbee noted that his firm follows a stringent vetting process for cases, emphasizing that the claims against the anonymous plaintiff are part of a broader scandal.

The prominent lawyer disclosed that he represents 120 clients alleging sexual misconduct by Combs, with incidents reportedly occurring from the 1990s through 2022. The accusers, who have filed more than a dozen lawsuits in New York since mid-October, allege they were drugged and assaulted at various events, including Combs' notorious White Parties.

The lawsuit against Buzbee is seen as another twist in the legal saga surrounding Sean "Diddy" Combs. The music mogul is currently detained in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, facing serious charges including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and other offenses. Combs, who has pleaded not guilty, was arrested in New York City on September 16. The Southern District of New York accuses Combs of using his billion-dollar empire to run a "criminal enterprise" involving various crimes.

Buzbee's firm has pledged to disclose demand letters when lawsuits are filed, aiming for transparency in their pursuit of justice for victims. The anonymous celebrity, represented by Quinn Emanuel, seeks damages for civil extortion and emotional distress in response to what he calls "textbook extortion."

As the legal battles unfold, the public scrutiny on Combs and those connected to him continues to intensify.
