Two Killed in Las Vegas Law Office Shooting, Gunman Takes Own Life

Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McMahill provided details on the incident during a press conference, stating that the shooting occurred around 10 a.m. on the fifth floor of a law office located on West Charleston Boulevard near Pavilion Center Drive.
According to McMahill, the victims of the shooting were a male and a female, although their identities and any relationship between them and the shooter have not been disclosed. It remains unclear if the victims were employees of the law office.
Authorities quickly responded to the scene and enacted an active-shooter protocol, evacuating the building to ensure the safety of those within. McMahill confirmed that there is no further threat to the community, as they believe the suspect had taken his own life. However, he emphasized that the suspect was not killed by law enforcement.
Investigations are currently underway, with law enforcement focusing on the suspect's vehicle and attempting to determine a motive for the shooting. Sheriff McMahill stated that although they have a theory, they are unable to disclose any further information until it can be confirmed.
