**Trump Plans to Reinstate Key Policies with Executive Orders on Day One**

Donald Trump aims to hit the ground running upon his return to the White House, with a slew of executive orders set to reverse several of Joe Biden's actions from the past four years. Trump's incoming chief of staff has confirmed that the former president will focus on reinstating key policies from his first term that were undone by Biden, although she did not specify which policies will be targeted first.

Among the high-profile policies that Trump is likely to revisit is the decision to leave the Paris climate agreement, exit the World Health Organization (WHO), and re-impose travel bans on citizens from certain predominantly Muslim countries. All these measures were promptly overturned by Biden via executive orders shortly after he assumed office in January 2021.

One initiative expected to make a comeback is Schedule F, a directive aimed at removing job protections for a large segment of civil servants, making them easier to replace with personnel loyal to Trump's agenda. This aligns with the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025, which proposes a sweeping overhaul of the federal government. Schedule F was originally rolled out during Trump's first term but was swiftly repealed by Biden upon his inauguration.

As Trump prepares for his return, he is also expected to introduce new executive orders that may face legal challenges, such as revoking birthright citizenship guaranteed by the 14th Amendment and banning certain educational curricula.

Additionally, Trump has vowed to dismiss Jack Smith, the special prosecutor investigating his actions related to the 2020 election and classified documents, and has pledged to pardon the January 6 Capitol rioters, contingent upon their innocence.
