### Trump Criticizes Harris' Allergies While Boasting About His Own Health

Former President Donald Trump launched a sharp critique at Vice President Kamala Harris over her medical condition on Tuesday, implying that her seasonal allergies could hamper her ability to serve effectively. Trump's remarks came just after midnight on Truth Social, where he questioned Harris' fitness for office due to her "allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis," conditions commonly known as hay fever and itchy, watery eyes.

"I have just seen Kamala's Report, and it is not good," Trump posted, poking at Harris. "These are deeply serious conditions that clearly impact her functioning. Maybe that is why she can't answer even the simplest of questions asked by 60 Minutes, and others."

Trump's comments follow the release of a two-page summary from Harris' vice presidential office on Saturday, which assured that she is in good health. Dr. Joshua Simmons noted that Harris, aged 59, manages her seasonal allergies with Allegra, Atrovent nasal spray, and Pataday eyedrops. Simmons also mentioned that she treats occasional hives with Allegra.

In his post, Trump, who is 78 years old, seized on Simmons' mentions of Harris' allergic conditions to question her capability. He pointed out, "She suffers from 'urticaria,' defined as 'a rash of round, red welts on the skin that itch intensely, sometimes with dangerous swelling.' What is this all about? I don't have these problems."

The vice president's team quickly responded to Trump's taunts, highlighting his own lack of transparency regarding his medical records. During a Sunday rally in North Carolina, Harris criticized Trump for not releasing more detailed health information. "He refuses to release his medical records," she stated. "I've done it. Every other presidential candidate in the modern era has done it."

In response, the Trump campaign cited a health memo from Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-Texas), a former White House physician, released shortly after an assassination attempt on Trump on July 13. Additionally, they referenced a November 2023 letter from Trump's physician, Dr. Bruce Aronwald, showcasing the former president's healthy statistics.

"I've put out more Medical Exams than any other President in History, and aced two Cognitive Exams," Trump boasted on Truth Social. "I am far healthier than Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden, but especially, Kamala."

Trump continued his attacks later in the day, suggesting that Harris' medical issues should disqualify her from the presidential race. "Kamala's Medical Report is really bad. With all of the problems that she has, there is a real question as to whether or not she should be running for President! MY REPORT IS PERFECT - NO PROBLEMS!!!" he wrote.

Ian Sams, a senior adviser for the Harris-Walz campaign, fired back, stating that Americans deserve to know more about Trump's health. "He could clear that up pretty easily by just releasing his medical records," Sams remarked on X.

The exchange intensifies the ongoing debate over the transparency of the health statuses of political figures, as both sides grapple with public and media scrutiny.
