Former President Donald Trump delivered a fierce and often false critique of Vice President Kamala Harris from his Palm Beach residence on Tuesday. Speaking in a lavish ballroom at his Mar-a-Lago Club, Trump dismissed economic concerns in favor of immigration and border security as the primary issues facing the nation.

In his address, Trump painted a dire image of America under Harris' influence, claiming that ruthless criminals roamed free and highlighting the prevalence of transgender operations. He blamed Harris for a loss of global respect for U.S. leadership and accused her of causing widespread anguish to American families.

"Today we're going to talk about the real character of Kamala, a person who has no remorse for the anguish she's inflicted upon families all across America," Trump stated to his supporters. He also accused her of leading a campaign of "demoralization," "destruction," and "hate."

With the election just a week away, polls indicate a close race between Trump and Harris, both nationally and in key swing states. Trump was scheduled to visit Pennsylvania later on Tuesday in his final push to rally support.

Despite Florida's recent shift away from being a battleground state, Trump has frequently campaigned there, leveraging its friendly audiences for national attention. His Tuesday speech aimed to counteract negative publicity from offensive remarks made by a comedian about Puerto Ricans and Latinos at a Sunday rally.

Trump criticized Harris as "unfit" for the presidency, accusing her of dismantling the U.S. southern border and inciting political violence. He suggested that Harris and the Democrats had emboldened individuals to commit violent acts against him by portraying him as a threat to democracy.

"After two assassination attempts in just over three months, her lies and her slanders... are inexcusable," Trump declared. He also emphasized that inflation had severely impacted the American middle class but insisted that border security and immigration were more critical issues.

Trump made a controversial claim that foreign nations were releasing their prisoners into the U.S., showcasing a video of a 12-year-old girl reportedly murdered by men in the country illegally. "Anyone who knowingly sets loose these monsters into our country has absolutely no right to be running for office, let alone the office of president," he argued.

In response to Trump's remarks, a spokesperson for Harris referred to senior adviser Stephanie Cutter's comments on CNN. Cutter labeled Trump as "unhinged" and warned that he would be even more dangerous and unchecked if re-elected.

While Trump continued his aggressive campaign, Harris was set to deliver her own significant speech at the Ellipse outside the White House. Her campaign chairwoman, Jen O'Malley Dillon, indicated that Harris' address would focus on moving past the division of the Trump era and embracing a new generation of leadership.
