**Trump and Harris Campaign in Key States as Election Day Nears**

As Election Day approaches, both former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris are making strategic visits to battleground states. With just 16 days remaining, the latest CNN national average of polls indicates a tight race for the White House.

Vice President Kamala Harris attended a church service in the Atlanta suburbs on Sunday as part of her campaign's initiative to encourage Black voters to go to the polls. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump visited a McDonald's in Pennsylvania, where he swapped his suit jacket for an apron and worked the fry cooker and drive-thru window. Trump also plans to hold a town hall event in Pennsylvania later in the day.

Early voting has commenced in Michigan and other swing states, with officials in North Carolina and Georgia reporting a strong turnout. Voters are encouraged to consult CNN's voter handbook to learn how to vote in their area and stay informed about the 2024 candidates and their key proposals.

Doug Emhoff, the second gentleman and husband of Kamala Harris, questioned why any Jewish voters would support Donald Trump, referencing antisemitic comments made by the former president. At a Democratic campaign office in Southfield, Michigan, Emhoff expressed his disbelief, stating it was "shocking" for any Jew to support Trump, given his history of antisemitic remarks and associations.

Earlier, Trump had stated that Jewish people would be partly to blame if he loses in November, highlighting a recurring antisemitic trope about dual loyalties. Emhoff, who focuses on combating antisemitism, recounted an instance where Trump called him a "crappy Jew" in a radio interview.

In another development, Kamala Harris condemned Trump for demeaning the office of the presidency following his recent derogatory comments about her. During a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Trump referred to Harris as a "sh*t vice president." In response, Harris reiterated that Trump "should never again stand behind the seal of the president of the United States" and claimed he had not earned the right to hold the office.

Amid the tense political climate, Trump wished Harris a happy 60th birthday, joking that he would gift her McDonald's french fries. Trump’s visit to the fast-food chain underscores his fixation on Harris' past employment there, a theme he has attempted to leverage to cast doubt on her work history.

Second gentleman Doug Emhoff and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz also shared birthday wishes for Harris on social media. Emhoff posted a heartfelt video message describing his support for her, while Walz expressed pride in Harris' contributions to politics in his message.
