The incident took place early in the morning within a hangar at the airport's technical operations maintenance facility, as the workers were carrying out a tire change.

Shortly after 5 am, emergency crews responded to a distress call about a tire explosion. The identities of the deceased workers have not been disclosed at this time. The injured Delta employee was rushed to a nearby hospital with significant injuries. As of Tuesday afternoon, the worker's condition remains unknown.

According to flight records, the three employees were working on a Boeing 757 jet that had arrived from Las Vegas the previous Sunday. Delta Air Lines released a statement expressing grief over the tragic loss and injury, emphasizing that they were cooperating with local authorities to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
