**IDF Announces Death of Six Golani Soldiers in Lebanon Combat**

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported the tragic loss of six soldiers from the Golani Brigade in southern Lebanon on November 13, 2024. These soldiers were part of the 51st Battalion within the brigade, and their deaths have cast a shadow over the military community and the nation.

The soldiers who fell during the combat were identified as Captain Itay Marcovich, aged 22, from Kochav Yair; Staff Sergeant Dror Hen, aged 20, from Gan Haim; Staff Sergeant Sraya Elbom, aged 21, from Mehola; Staff Sergeant Nir Gofer, aged 20, from Dimona; Sergeant Shalev Itzhak Sagron, aged 21, from Sderot; and Sergeant Yoav Daniel, aged 19, from Nahariya.

Captain Itay Marcovich served as a Platoon Commander and was esteemed for his leadership. Staff Sergeants Elbom and Hen, who served as squad commanders, were equally praised for their dedication and bravery. The young sergeants, Sagron, Gofer, and Daniel, were remembered for their commitment and service to their country.

The loss of these soldiers is a somber reminder of the dangers faced by those serving in conflict zones. The IDF mourns their sacrifice and extends its deepest condolences to their families and loved ones.
