Dallas Police Officer Killed and Two Others Injured in Gunfight with Suspect

A tragic incident unfolded on Thursday night in Dallas, Texas, as a police officer lost their life and two others were wounded during a confrontation with a suspect. According to the Dallas Police Department, they received a call for officer assistance around 10 p.m. in the 900 block of East Ledbetter Drive.

The Lewisville Police Department took to social media to inform the public that Dallas police were involved in a pursuit along Interstate 35. Their post confirmed that shots were fired, leading to the suspect's death. The authorities emphasized that the Lewisville officers were not directly involved in the incident.
