**Hawaii Man Found Dead in Los Angeles During Search for Missing Daughter**

In a tragic turn of events, the body of Ryan Kobayashi, a 58-year-old Hawaii man, was discovered near Los Angeles International Airport. Kobayashi had traveled to Los Angeles to search for his missing daughter, Hannah Kobayashi, age 30. His body was found in a parking lot on Century Boulevard early Sunday morning, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner. Authorities have stated that they believe the cause of death to be suicide.

Ryan Kobayashi had been tirelessly searching Los Angeles for his daughter, who was last seen at LAX on November 8 and last made contact with her family on November 9. The family released a statement confirming Ryan's death and expressed the immense grief they are experiencing due to this compounded tragedy. They emphasized the urgency of continuing the search for Hannah, who remains missing and is believed to be in imminent danger.

Hannah Kobayashi had embarked on a journey from Maui to New York City with a layover in Los Angeles. However, she never boarded her connecting flight. Instead, she visited the Grove shopping center and attended a Nike event on November 10. On the following day, she returned to LAX but did not board any flight. Her family reported receiving "strange" text messages from her later that day, prompting further concern for her well-being.

The Los Angeles Police Department, which is treating Hannah's disappearance as an active missing person case, has yet to provide additional details. LAPD spokesperson Charles Miller confirmed the ongoing investigation but declined to offer any updates.

Hannah's sister, Sydni, disclosed that a friend had received worrying text messages from Hannah, in which she mentioned her ID being stolen and expressed fear that someone she loved was trying to take her money. Sydni indicated that the tone of these messages was uncharacteristic of her sister and raised further alarms.

Prior to her disappearance, Hannah was supposed to join her aunt and other family members in upstate New York.

The family urges the public to remain vigilant and assist in the search for Hannah Kobayashi, highlighting the potential danger she may be in.
