Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is currently in the process of recuperating from a minor wound sustained during a shooting incident in Florida on April 27. Dell was among nine individuals who were shot during a crossfire involving unrelated parties, a situation that Texans owner Cal McNair described as "frightening."

According to McNair, Dell is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing some rehabilitation. The owner shared that he recently saw and spoke with Dell, noting that the wide receiver appeared in good spirits and looked well. However, he emphasized that Dell will need to complete his rehab to regain his previous level of performance.

Head coach DeMeco Ryans did not provide any information about whether Dell would miss any practice time as a result of his injury. Prior to the incident, Dell had an impressive rookie season, recording 709 receiving yards and seven touchdowns before breaking his leg in December.

The focus for Dell now is on his recovery and getting back to full health. The Texans organization, along with fans, will undoubtedly be eagerly awaiting his return to the field. Despite this setback, Dell's determination and resilience are expected to drive his rehabilitation process as he aims to regain his previous form and contribute to the team's success.

The entire organization is standing behind Dell during his recovery, offering support and guidance to ensure his return to full strength. As he embarks on this journey, Dell can count on the unwavering support of the Texans and their fans, who eagerly await his return to the field.
