In the case of the deadly carjacking near Winter Springs on April 11, new details have emerged regarding the suspect's alleged involvement. According to a federal affidavit obtained by WKMG in Orlando, Jordanish Torres-Garcia, 28, has claimed that he was paid to deliver the victim to someone else and was provided with the gun used in the attack.

Torres-Garcia is scheduled to make his first appearance in federal court in Orlando on Thursday, where he is expected to face a charge of carjacking resulting in death. Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma confirmed that the charge is supported by the affidavit.

Records reveal that Torres-Garcia was arrested on April 19 in Orange County on a federal warrant for violating probation related to a weapons charge in Puerto Rico. Following his arrest, he reportedly waived his Miranda rights and admitted to being the individual captured on video using a gun to threaten Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvivas inside her white Dodge Durango near Winter Springs.

According to the court documents, Torres-Garcia stated that he received an AR-15, which was unloaded, from an individual in the Casselberry area approximately 30 minutes before the carjacking incident. He further disclosed to investigators that he received a phone call minutes before the crime, instructing him to follow Aguasvivas in a green Acura until they reached the intersection of East Lake Drive and Tuskawilla Road.

Investigators learned that Torres-Garcia admitted to being paid $1,500 to deliver Aguasvivas to an undisclosed person, whose identity remains unknown according to the affidavit.

The white Dodge Durango involved in the carjacking was found engulfed in flames in Osceola County several hours after the incident. Upon examination, authorities discovered a body inside the vehicle, which a medical examination confirmed had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. While the Seminole County Sheriff's Office believes the victim to be Aguasvivas, they are still awaiting confirmation from a lab.

As the investigation unfolds, several arrests unrelated to the carjacking itself have been made. Kevin Ocasio Justiniano, 28, was apprehended in Puerto Rico and is believed to have been in the Acura with Torres-Garcia, driving the vehicle after the carjacking. The sheriff's office anticipates that Justiniano will also be charged federally with carjacking resulting in death.

Additionally, Giovany Crespo Hernandez was arrested on separate drug charges. Although investigators believe he was the last person to communicate with Aguasvivas before the carjacking, they do not suspect his involvement in the crime itself.

During a press conference, Sheriff Lemma indicated that more details may be released as the investigation progresses, suggesting a connection between drugs and money in the case.
