**Patrick Mahomes Expresses Frustration Over Burglary at His Belton Estate**

Patrick Mahomes, the star quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently opened up about his disappointment following a break-in at his Belton, Missouri, estate. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on October 6. During a press conference on Wednesday, Mahomes expressed his frustration and disappointment about the burglary, emphasizing that it is an event no one wishes to experience.

Though visibly dismayed, Mahomes, 29, could not disclose further details due to the ongoing police investigation. It remains unclear whether Mahomes, his pregnant wife Brittany, their one-year-old son Bronze, and three-year-old daughter Sterling were at home during the incident.

In a related incident, Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce's home was also burglarized on October 7. According to the Cass County Sheriff's Office documents obtained by TMZ, a substantial $20,000 in cash was stolen, and his back door was damaged. The burglary occurred just after 7:33 p.m., while Kelce was at Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs' "Monday Night Football" game against the Saints, which the Chiefs won 26-13. Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, spent that night at a downtown Kansas City hotel, with heightened security following the break-in.

The FBI is collaborating with local authorities to investigate both burglaries. Despite these unsettling events, Mahomes and Kelce have maintained their performance on the field. The Chiefs, currently the NFL's last undefeated team for the 2024 season, improved to a 9-0 record following a narrow 16-14 victory over the Broncos, thanks to a decisive blocked 35-yard field goal attempt by linebacker Leo Chenal.

Next up for the Chiefs is a game against the Buffalo Bills, who boast an 8-2 record, in Orchard Park this coming Sunday.
