### SpaceX Prepares for Falcon 9 Launch to Further Expand Starlink Constellation

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket is ready for launch from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on Sunday, aiming to deploy an additional 23 Starlink V2 Mini satellites. The launch, designated as Starlink 6-77, is scheduled for 4:57 p.m. EST (2157 UTC), with a launch window extending until 8:27 p.m. EST if necessary. The mission will follow a south-easterly trajectory to integrate these satellites into the sixth operational shell of SpaceX's Starlink constellation.

Live coverage of the event will be provided by Spaceflight Now, beginning approximately one hour before the anticipated liftoff. The 45th Weather Squadron has forecasted nearly perfect launch conditions, with a 90 percent chance of favorable weather at Space Launch Complex 40. Concerns primarily focus on liftoff winds and cumulus clouds. However, the weather conditions for booster recovery are considered moderately risky.

Should the launch be postponed to the following day, the probability of favorable weather conditions will decrease to 80 percent, and the risk associated with booster recovery will escalate to a high level.

This mission will mark the third flight for the Falcon 9 first stage booster with tail number B1085. This booster previously supported the Crew-9 mission to the International Space Station and the Starlink 10-5 mission. For the recovery operation, SpaceX's droneship 'Just Read the Instructions' is stationed in the Atlantic Ocean, west of the Bahamas. If successful, this mission will represent the 96th booster landing by ‘Just Read the Instructions’ and the 362nd booster landing overall in SpaceX’s history.
