In a shocking turn of events, Kenneth Muse, a 73-year-old man with a disturbing criminal history, has been charged with the murder of a woman found dead at the Friendship House in Old Louisville. The victim's name has not been released at this time, as investigations are ongoing.

Muse's past criminal record reveals a grim and violent history. Having already spent most of his life in prison for a murder conviction in 1975, he was only released on parole in 2019. Prior to that, Muse had been serving time for another murder. Court records show that in 1975, when Muse was 24 years old, he became enraged after his 16-year-old girlfriend ended their relationship. Seeking revenge, he held both the girl and her mother captive for hours, resorting to destructive actions such as shooting through windows, slashing tires, and cutting off the telephone lines.

During this horrifying incident, Austin Saunders, the girl's father, returned home and was shot in the stomach by Muse. Saunders initially survived but tragically succumbed to his injuries a few weeks later. Muse was initially charged with assault but later indicted for willful murder. He was ordered to pay a $10,000 bond.

Now, nearly 50 years later, Muse finds himself facing murder charges once more. This time, he stands accused of a deadly stabbing at the retirement home in Old Louisville. Police investigation revealed that Muse had been staying with the victim at the Friendship House. The evidence became incriminating as it was discovered that Muse had used a phone registered under his name to call 911. Moreover, subsequent scrutiny of sign-in sheets revealed that Muse had been signed in as a guest of the victim. Additionally, a phone bill with his name and number was uncovered within the woman's living space. Surveillance footage captured Muse leaving the Friendship House around the time of the 911 call.

Following his arrest, Muse's bond was set at a hefty sum of $500,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 24, where further details of the case will likely be revealed.

The Louisville community is left in shock and grief as they come to terms with yet another tragic incident involving a man with a dark and violent history. The investigation continues as authorities seek to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the stabbing and ensure justice is served for the victim and her devastated loved ones.
