Reality Star's Fiancé Spotted in Oklahoma and New Mexico Amidst Search
In the ongoing search for Gary Wayt, the fiancé of reality star Amber Portwood, new developments have emerged. Wayt, who went missing after an emotional argument with Portwood in Bryson City, North Carolina, has been spotted in multiple states.
First reported by News 13, it was revealed that Wayt was seen in Oklahoma several days after he disappeared. The sighting was captured on a car tag camera, providing some hope in the search efforts. Subsequently, he was also spotted in New Mexico, further heightening concerns for his safety.
Portwood, known for her appearances on "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom," expressed her deep worry during an interview on a YouTube channel dedicated to reality TV. She made a plea to the public, urging them to pay attention to Wayt's disappearance. "Please, listen to me, he is missing, OK? This is a huge deal. His parents, everybody is very worried... I'm worried," she emotionally stated.
Bryson City police have confirmed the sightings of Wayt and revealed that he was captured on a surveillance camera at a Verizon store in Oklahoma. Notably, he did not appear to be in distress during the encounter. However, the police department released a statement on June 14, stating that they will not remove Wayt's missing person status until he contacts law enforcement directly.
The couple had traveled to Bryson City for a family event before the incident occurred. Portwood clarified that the argument did not escalate into a major fight but rather led to Wayt leaving their rental cabin with only his wallet and keys, leaving his phone behind.
As the search for Gary Wayt continues, authorities and loved ones are asking for the public's assistance in locating him and ensuring his well-being. Any information regarding his whereabouts should be immediately reported to law enforcement.
