The president of the largest teachers' union, Rebecca "Becky" Pringle, has visited the White House at least 24 times during President Biden's tenure, according to visitor logs reviewed by Fox News Digital. Pringle, who recently made headlines for her controversial speech, met with various White House officials and participated in numerous events related to education.

The visitor logs reveal that Pringle had multiple meetings with high-ranking officials, including President Biden and Vice President Harris's Deputy Chief of Staff Erin Wilson. She also had interactions with Biden's national economic advisor, Lael Branard, and Jade Cabrera of the White House Office of Public Engagement.

In addition, Pringle attended several White House events, including a virtual event with First Lady Jill Biden and American Federation of Teachers (AFT) president Randi Weingarten. Notably, she had a one-on-one meeting with President Biden in December 2022.

During the National Education Association's Annual Meeting and Representative Assembly in Philadelphia, Pringle delivered a passionate speech advocating for transformative social justice in the education system. She emphasized the need to reclaim public education as a common good and strive for racial and social equity.

Pringle's speech also expressed her opposition to privatization and voucher programs, emphasizing her commitment to protecting public education. Her remarks reflected her support for President Biden and Vice President Harris, whom she had actively contributed to during the 2020 campaign.

Furthermore, Pringle championed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as essential principles for the union. DEI has generated controversy nationwide, with some criticizing it for promoting differential treatment based on race, gender, or other factors. In response, the Florida Board of Governors passed a regulation limiting public funding for DEI.

School choice advocate Corey DeAngelis strongly criticized Pringle's recent comments, accusing her of seeking control over children's minds and advocating for defunding teachers' unions.

In previous engagements, Pringle has consistently emphasized the importance of racial and social justice in education policy. She believes that addressing housing justice, food inequality, and the impact of the pandemic on marginalized communities are all integral to creating an equitable education system.

Pringle has faced backlash previously for earning over $500,000 during the pandemic while advocating for closed schools and comparatively lower salaries for teachers. Critics have raised concerns about her high salary and the disparity between her earnings and those of educators.

Both the White House and the National Education Association were contacted for comment on Pringle's visits to the White House but did not respond.

Pringle's frequent visits to the White House signify the close relationship between the National Education Association and the Biden administration, as they collaborate on shaping education policy and advocating for social justice issues within the education system.
