In a private fundraiser event in Seattle, President Joe Biden expressed his belief that former President Donald Trump had become "clearly unhinged" after losing the 2020 election. Biden suggested that "something snapped" in Trump when he faced defeat.

Speaking to his supporters, Biden highlighted Trump's obsession with the 2020 loss, stating, "He's not only obsessed with losing in 2020, he's clearly unhinged. Just listen to what he's telling people." Although Biden portrayed Trump as "unhinged," he acknowledged that he expected the November election to be a closely contested race.

Citing recent polls, Biden expressed confidence in his campaign's standing, saying, "We feel good about the state of the race, but we know the race is close." A CNN poll conducted by SSRS last month showed Trump maintaining an advantage over Biden, with 49% support from registered voters, while Biden stood at 43%.

While Trump has been preoccupied with his ongoing hush money trial in Manhattan, Biden has stayed focused on policy speeches and campaign events. Taking several jabs at the former president, Biden humorously recalled Trump's suggestion of injecting bleach to combat COVID-19, jokingly remarking, "He missed. It all went to his hair."

Concluding his remarks, Biden assured donors that he would try his best not to disappoint them. As the election campaign gains momentum, both candidates will continue vying for support as they aim to secure victory in November.
