In a rally held in Raleigh, North Carolina, President Joe Biden addressed his recent debate performance against former President Donald Trump. Despite faltering in Thursday's debate, Biden reassured supporters that he remains committed to the race and is determined to participate in a second debate.

A senior campaign aide reassured the public that President Biden is "absolutely" not considering dropping out of the race after stumbling with answers during the debate. Speaking to a crowd of enthusiastic supporters, Biden acknowledged his age but emphasized that his morals and experience make him fit for the job.

"Folks, I don't walk as easily as I used to. I don't speak as smoothly as I used to. I don't debate as well as I used to, but... I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong, and I know how to do this job," Biden stated confidently, prompting cheers from the audience. He went on to emphasize the importance of resilience, saying, "I know, like millions of Americans know, when you get knocked down, you get back up."

Throughout the rally, Biden seized the opportunity to highlight what he called Trump's false claims made during the debate, particularly regarding the economy, immigration, and crime. He criticized the former president for his alleged lies, even referring to him as having "the morals of an alley cat."

Biden further delved into Trump's legal troubles, referencing his conviction in a New York criminal court and mentioning pending criminal and civil trials. He also accused Trump of playing a role in limiting abortion rights for women across the country, stating that he and Vice President Kamala Harris would work to protect Roe v. Wade.

First Lady Jill Biden, wearing a dress with the word "vote" written on it, staunchly defended her husband's performance. She praised Biden's integrity and character, portraying him as a president who tells the truth, while accusing Donald Trump of repeatedly lying.

President Biden dismissed concerns about his debate performance, attributing any shortcomings to a sore throat and asserting that it's difficult to debate someone he considers a "liar." He engaged with supporters, taking photos with them, before departing the airport.

The President concluded his day with a closed-door campaign reception in New York. Despite acknowledging his challenges during the debate, Biden's determination to continue his campaign remains unwavering as he prepares for future debates and strives to secure a second term in office.
