### Police Release Details in Portland and Vancouver Ballot Box Arsons

Portland police have unveiled new information regarding a suspect involved in a series of ballot box arson incidents in both Portland and Vancouver. These troubling events include two attacks on Monday, with one causing significant damage to potentially hundreds of ballots in Vancouver, in addition to an earlier incident in October.

Authorities have described the suspect as a white male between 30 and 40 years old. He is noted to have balding or very short hair and possesses a medium to thin build. Witnesses last saw him wearing a dark shirt, and he is characterized by a "thin face."

Investigators have linked the suspect to knowledge in metal fabrication and welding, inferred from the construction specifics of the incendiary devices used in the attacks. This detail provides a unique angle to the profile, suggesting the suspect has specialized skills that enabled these destructive acts.

The vehicle associated with the suspect is a black or dark-colored 2001-2004 Volvo S-60. It stands out due to its more matte appearance, a tan or light grey interior, an aftermarket grill missing the Volvo emblem, dark wheels, and unpainted body trim. Notably, the car lacks a front license plate, making it more identifiable.

Police believe the suspect plans to continue these targeted arson attacks. The device involved in the Southeast Portland incident has been dispatched for forensic analysis to uncover any unique markings or writings. There have been unconfirmed reports suggesting the presence of inscriptions such as "Free Gaza" and "Free Palestine" on the device, though investigators have not verified this claim.
