### Parents Arrested for Alleged Role in Cover-Up Following Utah Man's Murder

In a shocking development, the parents of a Utah woman accused of murdering her husband have been apprehended for allegedly aiding in the concealment of the crime. Thomas Ray Gledhill, 71, and Rosalie Christianson Gledhill, 67, were taken into custody on charges of first-degree obstruction of justice. According to reports, the couple helped their daughter, Jennifer Gledhill, clean up her home after she allegedly shot her husband, Matthew Johnson.

The grim incident unfolded on September 21. Witnesses reportedly saw the senior Gledhills at their daughter's residence for an extended period around the time of the killing. Jennifer Gledhill subsequently reported Johnson missing on September 28. However, a man, who has not been publicly identified, came forward to police, claiming he had an affair with Jennifer and that she had confessed to the murder.

As per Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill, Jennifer Gledhill revealed to the man that an argument over the affair led her to shoot her husband the day after the confrontation. She allegedly moved Johnson's body into a rooftop storage container, dragged it down the stairs, placed it in her minivan, and eventually buried him in a shallow grave. She is also accused of destroying Johnson's phone, abandoning his truck in a different location, and thoroughly cleaning her own car at a car wash.

Police efforts to trace Gledhill's phone GPS led them to the location where Johnson's truck was abandoned, but his body remains missing. Meanwhile, Jennifer Gledhill was apprehended last week and faces nine felony charges, including first-degree murder.

In their initial police interview earlier this month, Thomas and Rosalie Gledhill denied any involvement in the aftermath of the crime. However, authorities discovered that both their cellphones had been reset, erasing all information prior to Jennifer Gledhill's arrest.
