### Panthers QB Andy Dalton's Family Involved in Car Accident in Charlotte

Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton’s family experienced a scare on Tuesday after being involved in a car accident in Charlotte. Dalton's wife, Jordan, turned to Instagram the following day to update friends and fans on their condition, expressing gratitude for the safety of her family, including their three children.

"Thank you to everyone for checking in on our family and for your prayers!" Jordan posted. "We're a little banged up but we are BEYOND thankful for the Lord's protection over our family yesterday!!"

The accident, which took place while the family was traveling westbound on Sardis Road, did not result in any immediate transportation by emergency medical personnel according to statements from the Panthers. The family members involved include Andy Dalton, his wife Jordan, their sons Noah and Nash, their daughter Finley, and their dog. The veteran quarterback is currently being evaluated by the team’s medical personnel.

In her heartfelt note, Jordan extended her appreciation to those who assisted in the immediate response to the accident. "Thank you to everyone who responded so quickly to the accident," she wrote. "First responders... friends and strangers... our hearts could not be more grateful for how you showed up for our family.. specifically our kids." She punctuated her message with multiple heart emojis and two Bible verses, highlighting the family's faith and gratitude.

The incident comes at a tough time for the Panthers, who recently suffered a heavy 40-7 loss to the Commanders, extending their losing streak to four games. Andy Dalton, 36, had a challenging game, throwing two interceptions, including a 67-yard pick-six, and failing to record a touchdown, accumulating just 93 passing yards.

The Panthers, currently holding a 1-6 record, are set to face the Broncos, who stand at 4-3, on October 27.
