**Nick Chubb Not Set to Play Against Eagles as Recovery Continues**

Cleveland Browns' running back Nick Chubb, who suffered a knee injury that ended his season last year, has completed another week of training. However, fans won't see him on the field against the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday. Chubb has been participating in practice, but only in a limited capacity this week.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski commented on Chubb's progress during a Friday press conference. "I'm not going to get into how close, those types of things, other than to say he's getting better every single day," Stefanski said. "And Nick has the attitude and certainly we support [him] where we'll just take it day-to-day and focus on what he's looking to accomplish out there - [whether] it's on the practice field, in the meeting room, in the weight room, those types of things. So, he's very much keeping a day-to-day mindset."

Chubb sustained the knee injury in Week 2 of the previous season after amassing 170 yards on 28 carries. While he won't be playing this weekend, there is a glimmer of hope for the Browns' offensive line as tackle Jack Conklin is set to return to the active roster. Stefanski, however, did not elaborate on Conklin's specific role for the game.

On the defensive side, rookie Michael Hall Jr. will be activated for Sunday’s matchup following his suspension. Meanwhile, cornerback Denzel Ward, who has been grappling with a hamstring issue, returned to practice on Friday. Stefanski mentioned that the team will have to monitor how Ward responds after participating in practice, having missed sessions on both Wednesday and Thursday. Ward's play status is questionable for the upcoming contest.

Other players listed as questionable include defensive tackle Maurice Hurst, who is dealing with an ankle issue, and linebackers Mohamoud Diabate and Jordan Hicks, suffering from hip and elbow/triceps injuries respectively. Additionally, safety Grant Delpit (concussion), center Ethan Pocic (knee), safety Ronnie Hickman (ankle), offensive tackle James Hudson (shoulder), and running back Nyheim Hines (knee) are all ruled out for Sunday’s game.
