### NATO and Ukraine to Hold Emergency Talks Following Russian Experimental Missile Strike

In a significant turn of events, NATO and Ukraine are set to convene for emergency discussions on Tuesday after Russia launched an experimental hypersonic ballistic missile at a central Ukrainian city. This development marks a critical escalation in a conflict that has now spanned nearly 33 months. Poland’s Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, has described the conflict as entering a "decisive phase" with "very dramatic dimensions."

In response to the Russian strike on a military installation in Dnipro on Thursday, Ukraine’s parliament has canceled its scheduled session amidst heightened security concerns. The attack has put additional strain on already tense international relations, prompting a clear warning from Russian President Vladimir Putin. During a nationally televised speech, Putin announced that the use of the intermediate-range Oreshnik missile was a direct retaliation for Ukraine’s deployment of U.S. and British longer-range missiles capable of hitting Russian territory. He further stated that Western air defense systems would be ineffective against this new missile technology.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov reinforced the aggressive stance on Friday, attributing the escalating conflict to "the reckless decisions and actions of Western countries" in providing weapons to Ukraine. He emphasized that Russia has demonstrated its military capabilities and outlined possible further retaliatory actions if its concerns continue to be ignored.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, widely recognized for maintaining close relations with the Kremlin within the European Union, echoed these sentiments. He suggested that the use of U.S.-supplied weaponry in Ukraine likely involves direct participation from the United States, aligning his stance with Moscow's narrative.

As tensions soar following the missile strike and the imminent NATO-Ukraine emergency talks, the global community remains on edge, closely monitoring the unfolding situation.
