Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - New reports have emerged regarding 30-year-old Mica Miller of Myrtle Beach, detailing her involvement in two separate incidents. The Myrtle Beach Police Department (MBPD) released reports in response to a request from ABC15, revealing Miller's role as both a victim and an offender.

The first incident took place on February 21 when MBPD responded to a stolen vehicle report at 300 Coastal Grand Circle. According to the report, Miller, who had been separated from her husband John-Paul Miller since January 2023, claimed that her silver Honda Accord was taken from the Walmart Neighborhood Market parking lot on Walton Drive. Miller stated that she had left her car there while hospitalized involuntarily. She further alleged that her husband had taken her purse and car keys during her hospitalization.

However, when contacted by the police, John-Paul Miller disputed the claim of separation and stated that Mica suffers from mental health disorders. He alleged that she often experiences episodes during the Christmas season, becoming reckless and spending large amounts of money when she stops taking her prescribed medication. John-Paul also claimed that the car in question was marital property and refused to return it until a month had passed, citing previous instances of Mica's "reckless episodes."

As a result of their investigation, the police concluded that since the couple was legally married, the vehicle was considered marital property and no criminal offense could be established.

In a separate incident on March 13, an investigation report revealed that Mica Miller, identified as an employee of Solid Rock Church, was involved in an embezzlement case. The report stated that Miller was sent to collect donations for the church's charity organization, "Dare to Care Mission," specifically for an upcoming mission in Jebrock, Kenya. The complainant accused Miller of transferring donation funds from the church's accounts to her personal South State Bank account. Additionally, cash donations were allegedly deposited directly into Miller's bank account, amounting to $1,199.

In recent developments, the Robeson County Sheriff's Office released a 911 call, security footage stills, and a timeline detailing the day of Mica Miller's death. While Mica's family met with deputies to discuss the investigation findings, John-Paul requested that the Robeson County Sheriff's Office meet him in South Carolina. However, the Sheriff's Office has stated that it does not plan to travel to South Carolina.

Friends and family of Mica held a rally on Sunday in front of Solid Rock Church, demanding justice for her. Additionally, Mica's family held a memorial service on Sunday afternoon, which coincided with a memorial service organized by John-Paul at Solid Rock Church.

The church announced on Monday that Pastor John-Paul Miller has been released from his ministerial functions for a designated period of healing, counsel, and guidance. The church's website has also been suspended temporarily.

The investigation into these incidents is ongoing, and authorities are working to gather further evidence to determine the appropriate course of action.
