Multiple individuals sustained serious injuries on Friday after an 18-wheeler truck intentionally collided with a Department of Public Safety (DPS) office in Brenham, Texas, according to officials. Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough claimed that the incident was carried out by a suspect who had been denied a commercial driver's license (CDL) the day before.

Judge Keough took to Facebook, stating that the suspect returned to the scene with the intent to cause harm. He requested continued prayers for the affected DPS staff, troopers, and civilians. The police have yet to disclose the cause of the crash and will provide further details in a news conference scheduled for Friday afternoon.

Three individuals were transported to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in stable condition. They suffered minor injuries from debris resulting from the building's structural damage, as reported by a hospital spokesperson. Meanwhile, the truck driver was hospitalized before being turned over to law enforcement. The police have confirmed the arrest of a suspect, although their identities remain undisclosed.

Aerial footage captured by NBC News affiliate KPRC of Houston revealed a large semitruck positioned in the office parking lot, aimed towards the building, and partially backed out into the street. The video also showed significant damage to the entrance of the DPS office. Texas DPS requested the public to avoid the affected area.

This is an ongoing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
