Chicago Police and FBI agents conducted a raid on an Albany Park apartment Thursday morning. The operation is tied to a suspect accused of fatally shooting two Israeli Embassy staff members in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday night.

Heavily armed FBI officers were seen entering a residence on Troy Street, which led to "a large law enforcement presence" that blocked nearby streets, according to NBC 5 reports.

In another incident, an attack in Boulder, Colorado, near a rally advocating for the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, resulted in injuries to eight people. Officials have stated that the FBI is examining this event as a possible act of terrorism. Eyewitnesses reported that a man with what appeared to be a makeshift flamethrower shouted "free Palestine" and hurled an incendiary device into the crowd. FBI Denver Special Agent in Charge Mark Michalek confirmed the arrest of a suspect linked to the attack during a briefing on Sunday evening.

Additionally, the Department of Justice has announced the arrest of a dual U.S.-German citizen, Joseph Neumayer, 28, who allegedly attempted to firebomb the U.S. Embassy branch office in Tel Aviv, Israel, earlier this month. According to the DOJ, Neumayer had indicated his intentions on social media, expressing a desire to "burn down the embassy" and posting messages that included "Death to America" prior to his travel to Tel Aviv.
