Bobbi Lynn Frye, owner of The Boulevard, confirmed that Leno stopped by for lunch post-fall, dining alone in the bar area and ordering chicken parmesan. According to "Inside Edition," Leno, who was staying at a local Hampton Inn, did not have a reservation at the restaurant and had ventured out on foot when the accident occurred. As a result of the fall, Leno suffered severe bruising to his face and eye and even broke his wrist.

In an "Inside Edition" interview, Leno recounted his misstep, joking about his initial underestimation of the hill's steepness. Leno's dedication to his performance was evident as he stopped by a local CVS to buy an eye patch and took a photo with the cashier before heading to his show.

Bill Erhard, The Boulevard's general manager, confirmed Leno's order of a hand-breaded chicken patty with homemade sauce and a side of garlic toast. Despite his visible injuries, Leno wore the eye patch during his performance, delighting the audience with his classic humor.
