**Israel Presents U.S. with Terms for Ending Lebanon Conflict**

Israel recently provided the United States with a document outlining its conditions for a diplomatic resolution to the ongoing war in Lebanon, according to a report by Axios. These terms were detailed last week and involve significant demands from Israel to ensure the disarmament of Hezbollah and maintain security along its northern border.

One of the primary conditions set forth by Israel involves the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) being granted the authority for "active enforcement." This measure aims to prevent Hezbollah from rearming and rebuilding its military presence near the border, as stated by an Israeli official. Additionally, Israel has requested that its air force be allowed unrestricted operation within Lebanese airspace.

The feasibility of these conditions being accepted by Lebanon and the international community appears unlikely, with a U.S. official expressing skepticism about the acceptance of such terms.

Efforts to reach comments from the White House and the U.S. State Department were unsuccessful, as were attempts to contact the embassies of Israel and Lebanon in Washington.

In a related development, Amos Hochstein, a White House special envoy, is scheduled to visit Beirut to engage in discussions aimed at achieving a diplomatic solution to the conflict.
