**Israel's Iron Dome Intercepts Hezbollah Rockets, Injuries Reported in Haifa and Tiberias**
Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system successfully intercepted rockets fired by Hezbollah over northern Israel on Monday night. Despite these efforts, seven individuals were injured in the attack.
The majority of injuries occurred in Haifa, where six people were hurt, while the seventh injured person was located in Tiberias. Following the attack, six individuals were evacuated to Rambam Health Care Campus for medical treatment. Among the injured, four suffered minor shrapnel wounds, one incurred minor to moderate injuries, and one individual was treated for anxiety. Notably, a 13-year-old child was among those injured.
In a more severe case, a 22-year-old patient sustained critical shrapnel wounds and was transported to Tzafon Medical Center for urgent care. The incident also saw a restaurant in Haifa suffer a direct hit as around 20 rockets were launched from Lebanese territory.
Initially, five rockets were detected, with some managing to bypass interception attempts and striking areas in Carmel and the Gulf, prompting an ongoing investigation. Later, another 15 rockets were identified over the Upper Galilee region, some of which were intercepted; however, reports indicate that several rockets succeeded in making impactful hits.
