### Continued Tensions: Israel and Hezbollah Engage in Escalated Warfare

In a notable escalation of conflict, Israel continued its airstrikes on Beirut on Sunday night, retaliating against a series of rocket attacks by Hezbollah. The militant group launched approximately 250 rockets and other projectiles into Israel, marking one of their most intense barrages in recent months. According to the Israeli military, around 160 of these rockets reached northern and central regions of Israel, some of which were intercepted.

Additionally, another Israeli airstrike on a building in Shmustar, located in the Baalbek region, led to the death of 17 individuals, including a mother and her four children, according to Lebanon’s Health Ministry.
