**Iran Temporarily Grounds Flights Amid Missile Attack on Israel**

On Sunday, all flights departing from airports in Iran were abruptly canceled and remained grounded until 6 a.m. local time on Monday. This measure was attributed to "operational restrictions," as announced by a spokesperson for Iran's Civil Aviation Organization. No additional details were provided regarding these restrictions at the time.

However, just around midnight, state media reported that the limitations had been lifted after authorities verified that conditions were safe for air travel. This development came several hours before the initial end time for the flight cancellations.

The imposition of flight restrictions came after Iran launched a significant offensive against Israel last Tuesday, firing a substantial number of ballistic missiles in retaliation for the deaths of key figures. These attacks involved 181 missiles targeting Israel and were declared by the Iranian regime as reprisal for the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut in September and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran in July.

Amidst this escalating conflict, Hamas from Gaza and Hezbollah from Lebanon have continued to exchange attacks with Israel since the Israel-Hamas war began on October 7th. In this context, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has criticized Western leaders for proposing an arms embargo on Israel due to its airstrikes against Hamas in Gaza. Netanyahu expressed his discontent by stating, "As Israel fights the forces of barbarism led by Iran, all civilized countries should be standing firmly by Israel's side, yet President Macron and other western leaders are now calling for arms embargoes against Israel. Shame on them."
