### Blasts Near Israeli Embassy in Copenhagen Under Investigation

Danish authorities are investigating two explosions near Israel's embassy in Copenhagen, believed to have been caused by hand grenades. No injuries were reported from the incident, and police are still assessing the magnitude of the blasts.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Jakob Hansen mentioned that the location of the blasts, close to the Israeli embassy, is a significant factor in the investigation. The embassy expressed its shock through a Facebook post but conveyed strong confidence in the Danish police's capability to manage the situation.

Following the explosions, the surrounding area has been cordoned off, and Danish military personnel are guarding the vicinity. Investigators in protective gear are meticulously examining the site for evidence. The blasts come amidst escalating tensions in the Middle East, with Iran launching a massive missile attack on Israel. Israel's ongoing conflict with Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon further heightens fears of a broader war.

In response to the incident, nearby Carolineskolen, a Jewish school in the Danish capital, will remain closed on Wednesday due to its proximity to the investigation area. The region houses several other embassies and consulates, adding to the concern.

The incident in Copenhagen follows a series of security events near the Israeli embassy in neighboring Sweden. Swedish authorities recently investigated suspected gunfire in the embassy's vicinity and previously disarmed a "dangerous object" near the building in January. These incidents have raised alarms, though they resulted in no injuries or substantial damage.

Swedish security forces have actively thwarted several planned attacks linked to Iranian security services, purportedly using local criminal networks. Iran, however, has dismissed the Swedish reports as unfounded.
