### Four IDF Reservists Killed and Several Wounded in Combat

In a tragic series of events, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the loss of four reservists in combat operations conducted in northern Israel and southern Lebanon. The news was shared on Thursday evening, revealing the names of the fallen soldiers who served their nation with valor.

The soldiers who lost their lives were identified as Command Sergeant Major (res.) Mordechai Haim Amoyal, Sergeant Major (res.) Shmuel Harari, Master Sergeant (res.) Mordechai Aviad Nayman, and Sergeant First Class (res.) Shuvael Ben-Natal. Their demise profoundly impacts their units and the broader IDF community, which now mourns their sacrifice.

In the same engagement, an officer and two reservists from the 222nd battalion of the second "Carmeli" brigade sustained severe injuries. These soldiers are currently receiving medical care, and their families have been apprised of their conditions. Later that evening, the IDF also confirmed the death of Sergeant First Class Gai Ben-Haroosh, from Pardes Hanna-Karkur, who was a commander in the Oketz Unit and fell in combat in southern Lebanon.

The fighting also left two other soldiers severely wounded. A combat officer from the 75th Battalion of the Seventh Armored Brigade and a reservist combat officer from the 6226th Reconnaissance Battalion, 226th Paratroopers Brigade, were both critically injured during the military operations in southern Lebanon. Like their comrades, they have been transported to medical facilities for treatment, and their families have been notified.

Benny Gantz, the leader of the National Unity Party, expressed his condolences and paid tribute to the fallen soldiers. "They are all reservists," Gantz stated. "All of them are painful reminders of our duty to cherish reservists. Always, and certainly now." He extended his heartfelt sympathies to the families of Command Sgt.-Maj. (res.) Mordechai Haim Amoyal, Sgt.-Maj. (res.) Shmuel Harari, Master Sgt. (res.) Mordechai Aviad Nayman, and Sgt. First Class (res.) Shuvael Ben-Natal, during their time of immense loss. Gantz also wished the wounded soldiers a complete and speedy recovery.
