### IDF Commandos Capture Syrian National, Expose Iranian Terror Network
In a decisive action, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a raid in Southern Syria and captured a Syrian national believed to be involved in operating Iranian terror networks. The military reported that this individual had been gathering intelligence on IDF troops stationed near the border, a crucial part of future terror activities planned by the network.
Having been under IDF surveillance for a considerable period, the captured Syrian national was detained and subsequently transferred to Israel for thorough interrogation. The military emphasized that this operation not only thwarted potential future attacks but also unveiled an Iranian terror network operating within Syrian territory.
This revelation closely follows another recent IDF operation in which Israeli commandos raided Lebanon and apprehended a high-ranking Hezbollah commander, Emad Fadel Amhaz. Involving members of the elite Shayetet 13 commando unit, the operation took place in Batroun, a northern Lebanese city situated approximately 140 kilometers from the Israeli border. The remarkably swift operation lasted only four minutes and concluded successfully with Amhaz's capture.
These back-to-back successful raids underscore the IDF's ongoing efforts to neutralize imminent threats and dismantle terror networks in the region. The situation is still developing and underscores the continued volatility and complexity of security dynamics in the Middle East.
