## Howard Stern Warns Netflix Ahead of Christmas NFL Broadcasts

Howard Stern has issued a stern warning to Netflix about their upcoming NFL broadcasts on Christmas Day. During his Sirius XM radio show on Monday, Stern addressed the streaming issues reported during the recent Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight and cautioned the platform to avoid similar problems during their NFL coverage.

"If you mess up people's football, there is hell to pay. You better not," Stern said, emphasizing the importance of flawless streaming, especially for such high-stakes games.

Netflix is slated to host two marquee NFL matchups on December 25. The reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs will face the Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh at 1 p.m. ET, and the Ravens will take on the Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston at 4:30 p.m. ET. Both games are expected to draw significant viewership due to their potential postseason implications.

Adding to the event’s prestige, Netflix announced on Sunday that Beyoncé, a Houston native, will be the halftime performer during the Ravens-Texans game.

The recent Tyson-Paul fight, Netflix’s first significant live sporting event, attracted around 60 million viewers but was marred by widespread streaming issues. Over 88,000 reports of problems were logged on Down Detector, with particular frustration during the co-main event between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. Netflix has yet to comment on these issues but is under immense pressure to ensure a smooth experience for the upcoming NFL games.

The streaming giant recently secured a three-year deal for exclusive Christmas Day NFL game broadcasting rights, reportedly costing $75 million per game. With this large investment and high expectations, all eyes will be on Netflix to deliver an uninterrupted viewing experience for football fans.
