**Vice President Kamala Harris to Break Ground with First Fox News Interview**

Fox News has announced that Vice President Kamala Harris will participate in her first-ever interview with the network. The interview, which will be conducted by Fox News' chief political anchor Bret Baier, is set to air at 6:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 16, during the Special Report program.

This pre-recorded interview will be conducted in Pennsylvania and is expected to last between 25 to 30 minutes. Harris, who has increased her media presence recently, has also appeared on 60 Minutes and has given interviews on more unconventional platforms like The Howard Stern Show and the Call Her Daddy podcast. Additionally, she will join a CNN town hall moderated by Anderson Cooper on October 23 in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.

In contrast to Harris’ debut on Fox News, her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, has already been interviewed on the network twice since joining the Democratic presidential ticket. While Fox News is often cited for its conservative slant, Bret Baier is noted for his balanced journalistic approach, despite some controversy from 2020 involving text messages with Tucker Carlson about the timing of the network's election call for Joe Biden.

Wednesday promises to be a busy day on Fox News, as the network will also host a town hall with former President Donald Trump earlier in the day. The Trump event, moderated by Harris Faulkner, will focus on women's issues and feature an all-female audience. It will be aired at 11:00 a.m. ET on The Faulkner Focus.

Cable subscribers and those using streaming services that feature Fox News will be able to watch Harris' interview, with the network also offering an app for easy access.
