**Tragic Discovery: Three Missing Sisters Found Deceased Near Wenatchee**
WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Police Department has confirmed the tragic discovery of three young sisters who had been reported missing last week. Olivia Decker, 5, Evelyn Decker, 8, and Paityn Decker, 9, were found dead near Rock Island Campground in Chelan County. The search began following a visitation with their father, 32-year-old Travis Decker.
The girls were reported missing on Friday, May 30, by their mother, Whitney Decker, after Travis Decker failed to return them as scheduled. Authorities immediately launched a search, noting that Decker was living out of a white 2017 GMC Sierra pickup. In a statement, Whitney Decker expressed her deep concern for the safety of her daughters and their father, pleading with the public for any assistance in finding them.
Initial efforts to locate the girls, including requests for an AMBER Alert and subsequent motel and database searches, were unsuccessful. However, a break in the case came on June 2 when deputies from Chelan County discovered Decker's vehicle abandoned near Icicle Road. Unfortunately, the search concluded with the heartbreaking discovery of the sisters' bodies.
Travis Decker remains at large and is now the subject of a widespread manhunt. Authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest, charging him with three counts of first-degree murder. The Wenatchee Police Department has urged the community not to approach Decker, describing him as dangerous due to his military background. He is described as 190 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and dark shorts.
Community members with any information on Decker's whereabouts are being asked to immediately contact authorities.
