**Tight Race for New Hampshire Governor as Ayotte Holds Narrow Lead**

The contest for governor in New Hampshire remains fiercely competitive as a recent poll shows Republican candidate Kelly Ayotte edging out her Democratic opponent, Joyce Craig. According to the Saint Anselm College Survey Center, Ayotte currently garners 49% support among likely voters, while Craig trails closely with 46%.

This three-point advantage for Ayotte echoes the results of an earlier poll conducted in early October, which also placed her in the lead with a 47% to 44% margin. Neil Levesque of the New Hampshire Institute of Politics highlighted the consistency of these findings, noting the intense engagement and focus from voters on this tightly contested race.

The poll, conducted online on October 28 and 29, surveyed 2,791 likely voters in New Hampshire and carries a margin of error of plus or minus 1.9%. Despite Ayotte’s lead in the gubernatorial race, it’s notable that the top of the Republican ticket, represented by former President Donald Trump, is not faring as well in the Granite State.

New Hampshire voters are scheduled to cast their ballots on Tuesday, and with such a narrow margin separating the candidates, the outcome remains uncertain in this hard-fought gubernatorial contest.
