In a shocking turn of events, Georgia football wide receiver Rara Thomas has been arrested and charged with several serious offenses, including cruelty to children in the second degree. According to the Clarke County Jail's online booking report, Thomas was also charged with two counts of family violence battery.

The arrest took place in the early hours of Friday morning when Athens-Clarke County police responded to a domestic violence call on Mill Creek Way. Authorities revealed that the alleged domestic violence was directed at Thomas' own child. The senior player was subsequently taken into custody and booked at the Clarke County jail at around 3:20 a.m.
