Former Detroit Tigers player and current member of the Tigers television broadcast crew, Craig Monroe, has issued a vehement denial in response to allegations made against him on social media. Monroe has been absent from the Tigers television broadcasts since the team's series against the Milwaukee Brewers on June 7-9.

Craig Monroe, 47, has a notable history with the Detroit Tigers, having played 672 games for the team from 2003 to 2007. Following his playing career, he joined the Tigers television broadcast crew where he has been a member for several years.
