Authorities in California are intensifying their search for the teenage child of former Slack CEO, Stewart Butterfield, who has been declared as a runaway by the Marin County Sheriff's Office. The child, identified as Mint Butterfield, was last seen on Sunday in Bolinas, California, and was reported missing on Monday morning.

According to the sheriff's office, Mint Butterfield is 16 years old and is believed to be in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco, based on information received from a law enforcement official familiar with the case. Although the teenager is estranged from their parent, officials have expressed concern and are actively working to locate Mint Butterfield, while also considering the sensitivity of the familial connection.

In the search efforts, San Francisco police are now involved, collaborating with the Marin County Sheriff's Office. Additionally, the agency is working closely with Mint Butterfield's mother in their attempts to locate the teenager. Unfortunately, the parents of Mint Butterfield were unavailable for comment about the ongoing situation.

Mint Butterfield is described as having brown and red curly hair, standing at approximately 5 feet tall, and weighing around 100 pounds. The teenager has distinctive pierced eyebrows. At the time of their disappearance, Mint Butterfield was wearing a black sweatshirt, flannel pajama pants, and black boots. The sheriff's office also noted that the teen may have a gray suitcase, further heightening concerns for their well-being.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Mint Butterfield's whereabouts to contact the Marin County Sheriff's Office at 415-479-2311. The search for the missing teenager continues, and the community is urged to remain vigilant as efforts intensify to bring Mint Butterfield home safely.
