### Weather on Election Day: Key Battleground States Face Varied Conditions

Weather on Election Day can influence voter turnout at the polls, and this Tuesday's forecast presents a mix of conditions across highly-contested U.S. states. While Montana, which is expected to back Donald Trump, may face blizzard conditions, key battlegrounds like Michigan and Wisconsin could experience some rainfall.

In Arizona, major cities such as Phoenix and Tucson will see temperatures ranging from the 60s to low 70s Fahrenheit (15.6-20.6°C), with northern regions experiencing cooler weather. The state is expected to remain mostly dry, with only light precipitation possible near the Utah border.

Georgia anticipates warmer conditions, with temperatures expected to be in the mid-70s to 80s (around 23-28°C). Southwestern parts of the state might encounter light rainfall later in the day.

Michigan's southern regions will have above-normal temperatures, reaching the 70s (21-26°C), and Detroit might see highs in the upper 70s (around 25°C). Lower Michigan could face a few thunderstorms in the afternoon, while the Upper Peninsula will be cooler, with temperatures in the 50s and 60s (10-20.6°C) and up to 0.5 inches (1.3 centimeters) of rain.

In Nevada, temperatures will generally be in the 60s (15.6-20.6°C). Las Vegas may approach 70°F (21°C), and Reno will stay in the mid-50s (low teens°C). Higher elevations will see much cooler temperatures in the morning, around the 20s (around -5°C), but will warm up by the afternoon.

North Carolina will also enjoy warm weather, with temperatures in the 70s to 80s (mid-20s°C). Western parts of the state might experience a few showers.

Pennsylvania's forecast shows no expected rainfall, with temperatures in the 70s and nearing 80°F (mid-20s°C) in some western areas, such as Pittsburgh.

Wisconsin will have much of its central and eastern regions in the 60s (15.6-20.6°C), but temperatures will drop closer to 45°F or 50°F (around 8°C) near the Minnesota border. Rain is expected throughout the state, with around 0.5 inches (1.3 centimeters) in the northern half.

The central U.S. could see scattered showers and thunderstorms, while the Northeast, mid-Atlantic, and Southwest are expected to experience calm weather. Meanwhile, breezy, dry weather in California has raised fire concerns. These weather projections are provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Weather Prediction Center.
