Fire Breaks Out at Carrie Underwood's Property in Williamson County
A fire broke out at country superstar Carrie Underwood's property in Williamson County on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 9:40 p.m. in the Pinewood community, located west of Leiper's Fork.
Responding to the emergency, Williamson County Fire Rescue dispatched all eight of its stations to Underwood's remote property. The crews faced challenges reaching the primary residence, as they had to travel up a long road and a long driveway.
Firefighters discovered that the fire had fully engulfed the property's garage. Fortunately, they were able to quickly extinguish the flames using the 10,000 gallon water tank already present on the premises. The tank proved to be instrumental in the swift response, eliminating the need for time-consuming hook-ups in such a secluded location.
Although the fire was contained, firefighters remained on the scene for several hours due to hot spots within the walls that sparked flare-ups.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported to Underwood or her family, who were present at the time of the incident. Williamson County Fire/Rescue confirmed that there was no damage to the primary residence.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, with authorities focusing on a UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) parked near the garage. A spokesperson for Underwood released a statement assuring that the fire did not affect the primary residence and that the family and their pets were unharmed.
Further details about the incident have not been disclosed at this time.
