Fatal Shooting Inside Ohio Movie Theater Leaves One Dead, Suspect in Custody

In a tragic incident at a movie theater in Massillon, Ohio, one person has been killed in a late-night shooting, according to local police. The Massillon Police Department was alerted to the incident around 11 p.m. local time on Friday, which took place inside the Regal Cinemas located at 175 Cherry Road NW.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of a man near the front of the theater's lobby. Details about the victim's identity have not been released at this time.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., a suspect was apprehended by authorities outside the Massillon Police Department. The individual has not been identified but is currently considered a suspect in the case, as confirmed by the police.
Regal Cinemas, in adherence to their safety policy outlined on their website, strictly prohibits entry for guests of any age wearing masks, face paint, face-obscuring hoods, or those possessing weapons, props, or fake weapons.
