Evacuation Zones Expanded to Ensure Safety Amidst Fire Threat in Butte County

The areas directly affected by the evacuation orders include Zone 865, Zone 866, Zone 868, Zone 869, Zone 884, Zone 885, Zone 886, Zone 887, Zone 883, Zone 867, and Zone 826.

Zone 865, encompassing Upper Palermo Rd, from the intersection of Lower Wyandotte Rd/Self Ln to the intersection of Upper Palermo Rd/Ophir Rd, has been designated as an evacuation zone. This also includes the southern part of Ridgewell Ct. Zone 866, consisting of Cynthiann Ln/Stageline Rd, east to Freeman Rd from the intersection of Lower Wyandotte Rd and Drescher Tract Rd, and south of Sutter View Ct, is also under evacuation orders.

Residents living in Zone 868, west of Tangerine Ct to Wyandotte Creek, the north end of North Rd, and south to Grubbs Rd should immediately evacuate. Zone 869, which covers the eastern end of Ardeth Ct from Maple Ln and the southern end of Bohemia Ave, has also been included in the expanded evacuation orders.

Furthermore, Zone 884, comprising Reservoir Rd/She-Yo Ln, east to Wyandotte Creek, and south to the southern end of Dustin Ln, is part of the newly expanded evacuation zones. Zone 885, located east to Grubbs Rd and Coco Ln, south to just north of Butte Vista and Cricket Ln, and the south side of Grubbs Rd between Crossa Country Rd and Alta Arosa Dr, is also affected.

Residents in Zone 886, which includes Wyandotte Creek east to Butte Vista/Alta Airosa Dr and Butte Vista Rd, and south to the southern end of Knobb Hill Ave, must evacuate immediately. Similarly, in Zone 887, Wyandotte Creek needs to be evacuated from east to Dunstone Dr and North Honcutt Creek, and south to the southern end of Crestmont Ave.

Zone 883, covering Palermo Honcut Hwy, east to Reservoir Rd/She-Yo-Ln, and South Villa/Grubbs, and south to Louis Ave is also included in the expanded evacuation orders. Additionally, Zone 867, encompassing Wyandotte Creek west to Dunstone Dr from the intersection of Lower Wyandotte Rd and District Center Dr, and south to Grubba Rd, is under evacuation.

Lastly, Zone 826, which spans Windfall Way and includes Coach Dr, Foothill Blvd/Windfall Way, Oro-Bangor Hwy/Foothill Blvd, south to Lower Wyandotte Rd, and encompasses Windfall Way, Walter Blume Ln, Dolddigger Ln, Old Mt Ida Rd, Gunter Ln, and Iron Horse Ln, is part of the expanded evacuation zones.

Authorities are urging residents in these affected areas to promptly evacuate, as the fire threat poses a significant risk to their safety. Evacuation centers have been set up to accommodate displaced residents, and it is essential for everyone to follow evacuation orders to ensure their own well-being and allow emergency services to address the situation effectively.

The evacuation orders remain in effect until further notice, and updates regarding the situation will be provided as new information becomes available.
