Michel urged the development of additional tools to amplify European influence globally and defend the bloc's values and interests.

Michel outlined two main pillars that the EU should focus on. Firstly, he emphasized the need to strengthen the economic base, foster innovation, and deepen the single market. He stressed the importance of enhancing Europe's economic standing and power.
