In a nail-biting turn of events, deputies captured double murder suspect Angel Gabriel Cuz-Choc on Thursday in a wooded area near Florida's Gulf Coast. The intense moment was recorded on the officers' body cameras as they apprehended the suspect and his two K9 companions.

Less than 24 hours before his arrest, Cuz-Choc's girlfriend, Amalia Coc Choc de Pec, 36, and her 4-year-old daughter, Estrella Pec Coc, were tragically found dead in a mobile home in Dover, Florida. The victims, who had arrived from Guatemala just three months ago, had been stabbed to death.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister described the crime as an act of "pure evil" during a press conference. The little girl was discovered deceased inside the home, while her mother was found in the backyard, surrounded by a pool of her own blood. Investigators suspected that a bloody handprint found on the side of the mobile home indicated a struggle for survival.

Shortly after his arrest, Cuz-Choc confessed to both murders, according to officials. Although he was dating the victim, it has been clarified that the young girl was not his biological child.
