In a horrifying incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, a college student with dreams of serving in the military was tragically killed after a date with a suspect who has drawn comparisons to the infamous "Milwaukee Monster." Sade Robinson, 19, was allegedly dismembered by Maxwell Anderson on April 2, and authorities are still discovering her body parts along the shores of Lake Michigan.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office stated that while the remains found have not been formally confirmed as Robinson's, they are confident that they belong to her. Additional remains were found on April 5, 6, and 7, further adding to the gruesome nature of the crime.
Sade Robinson's mother, Sheena Scrabrough, made a chilling comparison between Anderson and notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. Speaking on Crime Stories with Nancy Grace, Scrabrough stated, "This isn't normal. This is a 2024 Jeffrey Dahmer." However, retired Milwaukee police Lt. Steve Spingola, who worked on the Dahmer investigation, believes that Anderson lacks the same level of charm and intelligence as Dahmer.
Lt. Spingola explained that unlike in Dahmer's case, there is an abundance of forensic evidence, including files from Anderson's house and footage from video cameras and witnesses. He emphasized that in 1991, when Dahmer was active, such evidence was not readily available.
Maxwell Anderson was arrested on April 4, just three days after his dinner date with Robinson, when a passerby discovered a severed leg in Warnimont Park. On April 2, Robinson's friend reported her missing, raising concerns about her safety.
Anderson now faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson. He is currently held in the Milwaukee County Jail with a bail set at $5 million. Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball assured the public that, at this time, they do not believe there are any additional victims connected to Anderson.
Robinson, a student studying criminal justice at Milwaukee Area Technical College, had aspirations of joining the U.S. Air Force. Her tragic death has left the community devastated and mourning the loss of a young life filled with potential.
The investigation into this heinous crime is ongoing, and Anderson's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Monday. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office has urged anyone with information to come forward by contacting MCSO or Crime Stoppers to assist in the investigation.
The loss of Sade Robinson has left a profound impact on her loved ones and the community at large. As the investigation continues, efforts are being made to honor her memory and seek justice for her untimely demise.
