**Chris Christie Criticizes Dan Campbell's Tactics in Lions' Crushing Win Over Cowboys**
The NFL community rejoiced last Sunday as the Detroit Lions delivered a decisive 47-9 victory against the Dallas Cowboys, a team often regarded as one of the league's villains. However, the defeat left Cowboys supporters, including former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, far from thrilled.
During an appearance on "Mad Dog Unleashed" with Chris "Mad Dog" Russo, Christie shared his displeasure regarding the Lions’ use of trick plays despite their substantial lead. Dan Campbell, the Lions' head coach who once played as a tight end for the Cowboys, seemingly sought revenge for a controversial officiating incident from the previous season, which he believes unfairly cost his team a win.
"That's Dan Campbell. He's got no class. Never has," Christie remarked, criticizing Campbell's relentless trickery even when the game was clearly decided. "It's fine. It's fine. Look, Dan Campbell, that's the way he is, and what goes around comes around."
Christie further elaborated that the Lions’ grievances from the prior year should not have been directed at the Cowboys. "I just think it was misdirected," he said. "Dan Campbell's angry because the referees got a call wrong in the game a year ago. Well, then, run that play on (NFL commissioner) Roger Goodell. The Cowboys had nothing to do with the play being called incorrectly. It wasn't a challenge the Cowboys made. It was a call the referees made; the Lions got hurt by it and the Cowboys benefited from it."
For die-hard Cowboys fans, Sunday's rout remains a bitter pill to swallow. Yet, for the rest of the NFL, it was a spectacle that underscored the unpredictable and thrilling nature of the sport.
